I get a lot of requests for custom wedding invitations. Although I officially stopped designing invitations quite some time ago, I get the urge to tackle a stationery suite from time to time. There are so many things that I love about creating invitations–after all, it’s the first impression that sets the tone for the entire wedding.
Aside from being informative, I love to bring out each couple’s personality in each piece. Even the little details can say quite a bit about the bride and groom, so why not go all out?
Andy & Alison first found me on Etsy, where I helped them out with their eclectic, chartreuse save the dates. Slowly but surely, we added another piece to their invitation suite, carefully planning out each item accordingly.
I was recently contacted by a publishing company who is going to publish these babies in a design book. While this is incredibly exciting, I’m even more excited for Andy & Alison as they merge their lives together.
