Happy birthday to my baby, Bittersweet!
Three years ago, I watched this company take its first steps on a journey that had no real destination in sight. Looking back, I can see a clear path of where I’ve been and where I want to take my business in the next several years. To say that I’ve learned more in the last three years than I’ve learned in my entire life is a huge understatement – both professionally and personally.
I am learning to let go of the things that have no real benefits, to stop comparing myself to others, and to truly enjoy the benefits of running my own business. I am taking time for myself when I need it, and I am finding clients I only dreamed about finding a few years ago. Actually, they’re finding ME! For that, I am so thankful! I am designing for fun and challenging myself to get a little bit better every day. I’m chasing happiness and not a paycheck, which somehow also works out financially. I’ve learned that when I stop looking at numbers, they tend to fall in place by themselves.
Thank you all for sticking with me and making my dreams come alive. ALIVE, they are!
